Our Founder
Founded by Hannah Reeve in 2022, in partnership with Nurture Families, Growing Change provides the training needed for women experiencing hardship to become successful artisan dessert makers, whilst also teaching them the skills and opportunities to further their careers and regain their financial independence. The idea is to equip them to be able to move on to full time employment. In this way, there is a constant flow of people through the programme enabling more women to be helped and supported.
How It Works
Growing Change trainees are trained to become specialty food producers at our training centre in Worcestershire by our specialist team. After their initial training they begin their new artisan roles at one of the Growing Change partner sites throughout the West Midlands, supported by a mentor. They learn all aspects of quality control and management.
